Funky Electrical Issues

I have a '97 F150, and recently the blinkers flash rapidly, but only when the truck is in Drive or Reverse. When the key is taken out of the ignition, the truck is off but the radio stays on, so do the outside running lights. Is this a bad relay switch or a short somewhere possibly? I also hear some clicking noises behind the dash sometimes since this started. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much, I never noticed anything leaking around the windshield but I will have it looked at... Hopefully the GEM isn't a dealer item! Thanks again! Also, would you happen to know where the GEM is located?

Its mounted right behind your interior fuse panel. I have the same problem and it is a factory item unless you can find it on ebay...but make sure the numbers match exactly.
