PIAA 1500 Backup light assistance

I was told I might get some assistance here. I got a set of PIAA 1500 backup lights I plan to add onto my '06 XL this weekend. Anyone who has these (I remember reading a thread where someone installed these in their bumper) have any tips on how to run the wiring and where to mount the switch?

If you have the 7-pin trailer plug on your truck, and you just want them to come on when you put it in reverse, then all you need to do is tap the middle wire on the 7-pin plug. Be sure and use a realy when you do this though so you dont overload the circuit... If you want to wire a switch in as well, then you need to hook them up the same way, but run a wire from an ignition source to the realy. (i would recommend this so they dont accidently get turned on and run down your battery)
