Overhead console will not come on.

Overhead console will not come on.

I have checked the fuze inside the cab and it it good. #23. But it will not light up. Can anybody help me out? Also the service light stays on when I have it checked it says the gas cap is off. But it is on.

do you mean the interior light wont come on?

NO the overhead console that has temp and compass in it and a place to put your sunglasses.

I have this problem as well, along with the odometer that blinks. I plan on doing the repair on the instrument cluster for that and hope that it takes care of the overhead console. I will let you know if that fixes it. But I don't have too high hopes for that.

Ok

OK that will be fine. But all my other stuff works good but you never know. I found out what was wrong with my gas thing I got a new gas cap the service light stays off now.

Nope, that didn't take care of it. So I'm kinda lost on what the problem is. Hopefully somebody will come up with an answer........

The board for the over head console

OK I did take the board out and it is no good. On the display is a black burnt spot on it. So now I have to find a new one or one at the junk yard. I know that it is a dealer part. But maybe I can find one some place.

Check eBay. Many junkyards are now posting parts there.

Glad to help, sounds like this is whats wrong with mine as well. Let us know if you find one online, I might need one too.
