PDB under hood

Mine was not working when I bought my truck used. (2002 F150 XLT) There is a fuse for it under the hood in the Power Distribution Box. Fuse position #1 I believe it is a Yellow 20A. It should be the same from year to year I think and I hope that helps, Travis

My apologies

I just checked the fuse panel on a 2004 and it is Fuse position #39, not #1 like I said before. I am sorry for any confusion. But I hope that helps more. Travis

The owner's manual has the fuse panel layout in it.

If your original is missing, download a replacement from www.fleet.ford.com under MAINTENANCE.

probably a fuse. your OBD2 port's power will probably share that fuse, as in earlier models. if your run any high-drain devices (electric coolers!) on your accessory plug you may wish to add a circuit for those devices as 20A is only good for one or two devices.

Different Circuit?

So are the cigarette lighter and the power point on different circuits? I have a 2000 F-150, and they are side by side. Mine quit working also. I heard a pop, so I checked the fuses. The one under the dash was shot. I replaced it, and the cigarette lighter started working. The one right next to it doesn't work now.

yes the 2 power plugs are on different circuits. if i remember right, one of them has a fuse in the box under the hood and the other is under the dash on the drivers side.
