Instrument Cluster Light Question for 1999

On my instrument cluster there are two small lights that have come on and I can't figure out what they mean. When the headlights/running lights are turned on there is a small light in the speedometer area and another in the tachometer area that both come on. They are near the km/h labels. Does anyone know what these mean? I recently removed the cluster to fix an odometer issue and I must have tweeked something. I'm just not sure what I did or even what the lights are intended to signify. Any clues would be appreciated.

I think I've figured it out but am hoping that someone can confirm. The small lights aren't lights but holes that are supposed to hold pins that the speedometer and tachometer guages rest against. They may have fallen out and now the light from the bulbs behind are showing through. Can someone with a 1999 take a look at their instrument cluster and tell me if there's a pin next to the 100 mph and next to the 0 rpm?

I got confirmation that they were in fact pins, not lights. So a word of warning when removing the cluster. Some of the gauge pins may be loose so be careful. Also be aware that when you remove some of the dash parts there are rubber grommets (mine were white) that may pop loose and disappear into the dash. I lost two and hope it won't rattle too much!
