GEM module

Anyone tell me where the GEM module for a 2002 F150 S-crew 5.4 is located?

Also what replacement costs are for this piece of hardware.

Thanks.

Can you give any more information about your reply. I presumed it would be somewhere in or around the dash area in the front.

The GEM is matted to the back of the Central Junction Box ( cab fuse panel ).

You will need to remove the Fuse box and the GEM as a single piece, and then remove the GEM from the back of the fuse box.

If you use the search term GEM* there are about 204 threads. Some are specific to the location, others to problems.

On your MY truck, there is nothing behind the rear seat.
On the 04+, there is the VSM / BSM back there, but this is not the GEM.
This is akin to the RAP / CSM on your MY truck ( which is under the dash, if equipped ).
