Soft start set up for e-fans?

My lights dim briefly when my e-fans come on at night. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? I remember reading something somewhere about a soft start up set-up? Can anyone give me advice?

Thanks in advance!

i might want to check and see where you grabbed power from, the dimming is just the high current surge it takes to start the fans up. if you arent using a thick enough wire from a good power source, that could be why your lights dim.

...especially if the e-fans are drawing power through a portion of the circuit that is common to the lights. The current draw through a common circuit element can cause a significant drop if the path is not robust enough.

Note's A good ground is not the metal frame of vehicle use copper all the way to battery the power wire should be straight to battery with a relay opening circuit relay controlled by run circuit from vehicle and thermostat and A/C if needed.

Thanks for the tip. I have it grounded to the frame. I will run copper all the way back to the battery.

Yes, the frame & body are good grounds, IF you maintain your battery cables properly & keep them tight and clean.
