Remote Starter And Keyless Entery

I have a 2000 f150 and i put a remote starter in it and i can not figure out the door lock wireing the instl. manual i have says thair should be no power at th switch and whene you push the lock it should test neg. but it's pos. until you push the switch then it's neg. so can someone help me or can i program the remote starter remote to unlock the doors without tapping into the doorlock wireing!!! help please

from what i can remember in my car starter days... fords have a 5 wire locking system, meaning you have to cut the lock and unlock wire and put them into a relay... (switched side to the center pin on a relay)

its been a while since ive done this, so im not 100%.

Thanks i figured it out i had a short in my relay wire and all i had to do was wire it to the relay and the relay to ground it sounds weird but when you touch the pos. wire to ground the doors lock. the install man. said ther should be no voltage there but it is wrong.
