WOW I went with only med and high for the longest time. Then only high . It took longer to find it than to install it. This is a 97 f 150 and the resistor is under the glove box .three screws and that's it. Thanks guys. Also I know the parts guy at the dealer,so it only cost me $12.00.

It should look similar to this although all you will see is the end the harness plugs into. The end with the coils will be inside the air duct. Unplug the harness and remove the screws and pull it out.
Just go get the new one and then you'll know exactly what you're looking for under the dash.

If it goes out again real quick its your blower motor shorting out the resistor.

location of the resistor?

Is this resistor located under the glove box passenger side, or is it located in the center under the dash ?
