I am having trouble with my remote start. I have the oem rmst. It starts, but then shuts off 5 seconds later, everytime. I also couldn't find the correct door lock wire. I don't know if this would make it shut off, but I just left it disconnected. I have installed the pats module that goes around the lock cylinder, and it seems to be working. I can't get into the programming mode though to make sure that the tachless mode is on. I double checked all of my jumpers and they seem to be working ok. If I am not using the door lock feature, should I remove the fuse for them in the brain?

I'm not familar w/ the OEM rmst... Travis sells the CodeAlarm which I believe is identical.

If it shuts off after 5 - then your PATS bypass isn't programmed correctly.
