mil light and cruise control
I just purchases 01 F150 with 160K miles. 4.6 V-8 Automatic 2wd.
I noticed that the mil does not bulb check. I am going to pull the cluster and perform the soldering tip to repair the vanishing odometer. Wonder if there is anything else I should look at for the mil light?
Maybe related. Cruise does not work. Brought in to the dealer and they performed the recall on the harness. Now when I push the on button while cruising down the highway, and then touch the set buttom, the cruise light blinks and remains off. The cruise does not activate. When I touch the other buttons the cruise light blinks also.
Lastly, I was a GM tech for 10 years. I would like to purchase a oem shop manual. (print or cd) any ideas? Thinking about alldatatdiy. Any feed back would be great.
