I have 2 older KC lights and can't get them to work. It doesnt appear that the bulbs are burnt out but there isnt a "bulb" it 2 prongs and a spring. can i change these or how do i get them to work? thanks

Have you checked the fuses?
I know the wiring kit that came with my 6x9s has a fuse for the switch and one for the lights themselves. With either one blown the lights won't work.
I would imagine there is a fault in the wiring somewhere if both of them won't work. Check for shorts too if you've got a blown fuse. I know I accidentally tightened one of the lights on top of the power wire, causing it to become kinda crimped and expose a tiny bit of wire, so it would just short out and blow the fuse if I tried to turn them on. Fixed that, replaced the fuse, and they work great now.
Or could be the bulbs I guess.
