No brake lights or turn signals

I have a 2001 F-150 Supercrew. My brake lights and turn signals will not illuminate. Also, when engaging the turn signal lever, the arrows on the dash do not illuminate or 'click'. I checked the fuses and they are still good. Any ideas... I'm stuck.

Do a search on 'multifunction switch'.

Just had the same problem as you. I replaced the multifunction switch and that wasnt it. It ended up being the flasher relay under the dash above the diag port in a little black box. Just pop the cover off and it will be the blue relay. I changed that and my turn signal came back and the brake lights.

Thanks 5.44x4! I located the flasher relay. Did you have any trouble getting it out? I only tried for a couple of minutes today and no luck. I'm trying not to pull of the dash cover if i don't have to. I hope to tackle it tomorrow afternoon when I have more time. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

Replaced the Relay under the dash as advised. That sucker blew as soon as i turned on the blinker. That tells me I probably have a short somewhere. Not sure I should spend the money on the Multi-Function switch yet. Any ideas??

Solution!!

Turns out the darn Multi-Function switch had come loose. Not sure how, but as soon as I reconnected the cables everything was working again! Thanks to all those who helped out on this one.
