2000 f150 xlt 4.2 v6 auto

my passenger side mirror has had trouble going all the way down ever since i owned the truck- would go about halfway down then get stick. replaced the window motor and it is doing the same thing??? have tried greasing everything and so on.... please help if you have any suggestions as i have the door completely tore up for the moment
