High Beams Wont Click On

The high beams come on only if I hold the mfs towards me. They wont click on. Any suggestions other than replacing the mfs?

Thanks

Might try cleaning the mfs. The grease Ford uses sometimes gets hard and cracks causing contact problems.

When you use the FTP ( flash to Pass or towards you ) the high beams work.

When you push the MFS forward what happens ?
- MFS clicks forward, but high beams don't light
- MFS stays forward, or returns to low beam position
- MFS does not click forward, but high beams light
- any thing else, these are just items I can think might happen.

FTP uses a separate part of the MFS circuit, so if it clicks forward, and does not work, could be a Main headlamp switch problem, or a MFS problem ( long the lines of torkum's post )
