hey guys...my intake manifold gasket blew on my 98 F150 xlt 4.6L...so i pulled off the intake manifold, injectors, etc and replaced the gasket...put everything back on and now the car wont start...

I also replaced the starter relay

now there is a beeping when the key is in the on position coming from right near the fuel pump shut off switch...???

any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Will the truck crank/turn over and not start or when you turn the key it does nothing? Do you have antitheft on the truck?

 

nah, it wont crank...and i dont think is has anti theft...it was an old NYS truck...

 

although, i do have a remote car starter...could that have a resistor inside it?

but, as stated, it was a NYS vehicle and has no power lock, windows, etc.
