Cool 92 F150 5.0 no fire

It just died while idling in the driveway. The fuel pump comes on and it has gas. I pulled the coil wire and held it to the coil and no spark while it was turning over. I replaced the coil. No change. The cap and rotor look ok. Any other possibilities?

Thanks,

Rick

Get a Haynes manual & a cheap digital multimeter, and follow the ignition diagnostic procedure (usually in Ch.5 Sec.5).

You might also check your Duraspark Ignition Box.

Duraspark wasn't used after '86. But that diagnostic in Haynes will ID the problem.
