To all 3 of you, the best thing you can do right now is get into your doors and look to see if you have unused harness connectors. I have the 03 XLT so I have the harness connections there for the features. If you have them then I would suggest pricing new power door and power window parts but also consider going to a junkyard and look for same year or similar of a truck that is in good shape in the door areas and maybe remove the parts from them and clean up if needed, lube up, and install on your doors. And if you can just plug and play, you have to make sure you have the fuses populated in your fuse panels whether inside the cab and/or under the hood.
If you dont have unused harness connectors tucked away then you will have to do some harness splicing but to what wires would be the big obstacle. I also suggest getting a factory service manual to help out. But again, if you have to splice into your harness, put inline fuses into your new circuits, otherwise you might overload existing fuses by putting more on them that what was designed. Doing this would drive you to find a 12 volt source coming from under the hood that is already on a larger fuse like a 40 A or 60 A like those in the engine bay fuse box.
Most alarms are aftermarket and would not be a big deal to install, Ford specific alarms are no doubt just as easy to install but might cost more $$$.
Since you have manual locks and windows, you are most likely looking at new door interior panels and trim. Well, not necessarily new, but different than what you have now. Just depends on where you get it, but investigate your door assembly first.
