This is rediculous!!!

I have had my truck for 4 months now. I have replaced two window motors already and the third one just broke. I have had to replace the power window switch in the passenger side front twice now. This truck only has 56000 miles on it. Is Ford doing anything about these regulators/motors on these trucks. This is crazy for them to be going out like this.

Just a thought, but when the motors and switches were working good, did the up and down speed of the window seem normal? Just wonder if there is an excess of friction in the drive assembly that the motor had to work harder than typically in order to operate and that caused premature failure, current surges, etc. However, would seem to me that if the total motor draw was in excess of the fuse governing that circuit would blow before a motor failed or a switch failed.

They all seemed to go up and down pretty quick. The sad part about it is this why I bought a Ford. I was tired of all the electrical/interior problems w/ gm. I guess I should of gotten a Yota or nissan.

.........buying a Yota, you have to worry about Camshaft failures, an interior that looks like a car, a fuel tank that hangs down a full inch from the frame, etc. etc. etc. If you wanna buy a Yota, good luck to you. If you wanna buy a Nissan, drive it by my house and I'll be the first one to laugh at you. Buy a GM and make sure your life insurance policy is up to date before your first fire. Welcome to the Ford family.

I was just joking about owning one of them. I have been a ford man most of my life. Other than an 02 Trans/am (really a formula) and a tahoe that I kept for 2 months It's been all ford. Three fox stangs, 1 sn95 stang, and my old beast a 1983 Ford Bronco with 6" susp. lift and 3" body. Riding on Mickey Thompson's 36x16.50( I believe) w/ a 392ci sbf that I took out when a teenager forgot to stop at a stop sign and I flipped it to keep from killing him in his Hyndai. It dynoed 450+ hp at the wheels when I put in my 87 stang.
I have calmed down a bit now. It's not Ford it's all of them. Things ain't made like they used to be. BTW my bronco was 13 years old and still had all the original power window motors in them.
