would the dash from a 99-03 fit in a 97-98 f150 or will the plug be different.

 

I had hopes like you at one point, but the plugs are completely different.

 

Then why not A) change the connectors (not as hard as it sounds) or B) swap the '98 harness into the '99 dash?
