Question PATS Question

New to the site. I just installed a bulldog security remote start and door locks system in a 2000 F150 4.6L. Everything is working except the truck will not come out of drive. I can turn the key fwd, start it and then it will go in drive, but when you put it back in park, it is stuck again. My question is will the PATS system disable the transmission like that or do I have another problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the shift lever not working? When you press the brake pedal and move the shifter to park what happens? Did you install the remote system?

I did install the remote system and the truck will not come out of Park. I can turn the key forward and it will allow me to move the shift lever to N. I can then start the truck and go to D. If I put it back in park, it locks it in park. I am not able to move the shift lever again. I have to turn the truck off, move the shift lever to N and start over. Any thoughts?

After taking the remote start out and checking all the fuses, I did in fact find a blown fuse. Reinstalled the remote start and replaced the fuse and all is working well. Thanks for the help and hope this in turn will help someone in the future.
