Dimming Lights

I Have A 97 F150. When My Truck Reaches 35000 Rpm My Headlights And Dash Lights Dim When It Shifts Into Drive They Brighten Up. Also With My A/c On The Fan Gets Weak Until It Shifts And At A Lower Rpm. What Is The Problem??????

Replace the alternator, the brushes no longer keep a good seating at rpm.

Thanks, I Talked To Alot Of People And The Reason I Dind't Thing It Was The Alternator Was That It Has Been Doing This For Several Months, I Thought By Now The Alternator Would Have Died Or Gotten Worse.but I'll Try That.

It's a lot cheaper to just replace the brushes if they're the only problem. Easy, too.
