hey guys, I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find anything.

i just bought a 2005 Fx4 SCAB, I'm having major electrical problems all of a sudden.

1. Cruise Control doesn't work all the time
2. Blinkers sometimes won't work, when I turn on the emergency flashers they start working again.
3. Power door locks usually lock once the truck starts moving, a lot of times they don't though.
4. The Passenger seatbelt light above the radio, is on sometimes when i don't have a passenger, and sometimes it's off if there is no passenger.

I've checked fuses and they all seem to be ok, I don't know what to do.

I have 34K miles, would it be a good idea to take it to a dealer and get it inspected? would the warranty cover that?

Sorry if i'm asking too many questions, it seems like the truck is haunted

Sounds like a GEM module acting flakey. I would check the GEM harness connector for intermittent connections & the grounds. I think the GEM on a SCAB is on the pass side near the fuse/breaker panel. Make sure you have the neg battery terminal disconnected during troubleshooting.

Hey Guys, I have a 2005 FX4 with a number of electrical problems:
1. "Check Gauges" light in dash stays on (usually after heavy rain).
2. Interior lights and third tail light fade on and off with the above.
3. Yesterday, my radio stopped working, but as I turn off the ignition, it works for a split second.
4. As I turn off the ignition, I hear a sound like the starter engages (like a pop).

Anyone have problems like these?

Didn't the "Gem" end with the end of the old model??? I don't think a New Body F-150 has a "Gem".
