Well guys I've got my power folding mirrors on the truck and all wired up as per the Ford wiring diagram. Only problem is when plug my hot feed into the relay, I blow the fuse every time. I've double and triple checked the wiring, nothing wrong their, nor is there a short. What I'm thinking now is that it has to be the relay. Just like so many others out there I ordered the relay that BSM has noted in his write-up (5L3Z-17L684-AA), and the box indicated that one, but when I opened it up, it was marked (5L3T-17L684-AA). Could this be the problem? Has Ford re-sequenced the connections on this relay? I need some help ASAP as this is about to drive me absolutely nuts. Thanks guys.

 

The relay should still have the same pin out on it.

One question, when you hooked it up, did you wire it looking at the bottom of the relay, or as viewed into the relay socket ?
