Hello everyone... I'm new and celebrating my first post. My '99 is your typical F150 with 184K miles, and needs a few things done, but all and all a great truck. My only question at this time is if anyone knows of the possiblity of an aftermarket head lamp switch that would allow my fogs to come on automatically with the head lamps, like on the newer trucks. I leased an '05 for 2 years before I bought this '99 and loved that feature!

 

just splice your fogs into your parklights there is a mod that a lot of people do i did it but i forgot which wires. you also have to have auto lights to begin with do a search on it and be sure its for a 99

 

If you have Autolamps on your '99, you can modify the ramp towards the Autolamp setting, to allow the fog lamps switch to pull out.

The need for the jumper with autolamps, and low beams would not be needed ( the jumper is for on with parking lamps & high beams ).

Alternately you could just wire the fog lamps to be on with the low beams at all times, but I don't think this is what you are after.
