2004 F150 Power Window won't open
Having a problem with the rear, driver side power window of my 2004 F150 supercab: it won't operate, is stuck in the up/closed position, and won't open or go down. No other problems with this truck, just this one window. I don't hear a thing if I try to open it using either the driver switch assembly or the single-window switch in the back.
I suppose I'll have to remove the door panel and start some test procedures, but thought I'd ask if anyone else has run into a similar problem, and has fixed it.
[My son had a similar problem in an old beater- window wouldn't go up. Took things apart, switched polarity and found that the window would then go up, but not down. Conclusion: replace the switch assembly, which resolved the problem. In this case, it was the driver side window...]
THanks,
Ken
