my 97 f-150 is stuck in park...until I stop the motor and just turn the key one click and start in nutrual...I have checked the 15amp fuse and its ok..I also unpluged the brake pressure switch on the front of the master cylinder..no luck still cannot get it out of park...can anyone help...and yes its in the recall for the speed control...have not got to ford yet..is this the problem with the recall? thanks very much... brake lights do not work either

 

The one on the master cylinder is ONLY for the cruise. Do your brake lights work? That switch (the BOO) is on the pedal arm.

found it a broken wire on the brake switch...now it works...thanks for the help...
