I just bought an '03 Supercrew Lariat, used obviously. My overhead console only displays the compass direction. There is a button labeled "Select", but all it does is turn the compass off and on. I've seen another '03 that had the outside temperature displayed, but I have the automatic climate control and the temp is displayed there instead. So what other information/options am I not getting that other consoles are? I've had other vehicles with consoles that tell you your gas mileage, trip odometer, and other information. If it matters, I have a moonroof which means I don't get the overhead bins. But I don't know if that means they can only put in a scaled-down information center console. I didn't get an owner's manual with the truck, otherwise I'm sure I could look this up in there.

 

What you see is what you get that year. Compass and temp in two places,the newer trucks started adding more on them to tell you all the other stuff that you listed.My wifes GMC has all that,but you have to move it around alot to read it all the stuff and that takes your eyes off the road for few sec's to read it.
