Hello, I am driving a 2005 F-150 XL with out the temp and compass option. I see that the wiring is there for the outside air sensor. Will the stock computer recognize the addition of a sensor and display the temp in the odometer readout? I am sure someone has tried this.

Also, is the wiring already there to add the auto-dimming mirror/compass combo. Just look to upgrade. Thanks for the info.

 

I can't tell you if you can just add the sensor, but this thread should be interesting.
