Had leather seats put in new F150 yesterday. Now when I get in, the airbag light comes on at startup then goes out, then comes back on again. I don't get any codes. If someone is in the front passenger seat, the light goes out. When they get out, the light comes back on and stays on. Could they have somehow damaged the weight sensor in the seat?

 

I don't have leather seats but sometimes when I put my laptop bag in the passenger seat of my Screw, the passenger airbag light comes on.

It may be some type of weight knowing something is in there but not enough to think it is a person? I am not sure how the system works, just putting my my personal experiences.
