doorpad can disarm viper??

Hey forum. My name is Ever and i'm new to the F-150 community with the recent purchase of an Screw 07 FX2 and already thinkin up a list of mods. (also own a 1993 ford probe GT)

The 1st one on the list is A viper 791xv remote start and security.

I've already dug up the diagrams but still have one unanswered and pressing question.

I've seen posts here, very old ones w/dead links and members who no longer post about making viper alarm systems disarm through they doorpad. If anyone knows how to do this hit me up!

I've only found dead ends through the search feature since the post are a couple of years old and cant get in touch with any of the people.

be advised my viper does not have a disarm wire. only the key fob can do this. It does have a factory disarm but that wont do much. If im wrong hit me up!

Also, the truck has remote keyless entry from factory and it turns the lights on when i open it wich i like. The headlamps also stay on after i lock it and the light inside the truck fades out. Now its no biggie but if i can keep those features it'd be even better. If not oh well.

How do viper behave when disarming? just unlocks and blinks? how about when locking?

I have an 07 FX2 with keyless entry (well did). Now i have the viper with alarm/remote start u are speaking of.

The headlights coming on when u unlock the doors via keyless entry from the factory system will no longer work with the viper. the headlights blink...and if switch is on auto with fogs on, and the truck is remote started....the parking lights and fogs blink on and off constantly.

The door keypad will not shut off the alarm....even if one key is pressed the alarm will actually go off.

Cool, thanks for the input

I know some guys around here actually got it to unlock with the doorpad. They wired it a certain way.
