93 ignition harness

93 ignition harness

is there a difference between a 93 and a 94's ignition harness.

There's not an "ignition harness" - the ignition wiring is embedded in the engine harness & the engine bay harness. It runs from the distributor to the coil to the big connector under the brake master cylinder to the TFI to the EEC, & even into the dash harness.

Yes, there are differences in those harnesses between years & even between trucks of the same model year.

What are you trying to do?

i was wanting to put a remote starter in my truck. i have a bulldog starter sitting in my closet and i was wanting to use it. they have a harness that plugs in to the ignition harness but it says for 94-96. well mines a 93. http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/tharnesspage.htm

They're talking about the ignition SWITCH harness (really just the connector). The switch is on the bottom of the column inside the shroud. Look thru these photos. I don't think there's any difference in that wiring from '92-96. IDK why they say '94-96.

i was thinking they were the same through 91-96 thatnk for the help. i see you have one of the bulldog starters on you cv. did you like it any problems
