Temp sensor

Anyone know where the sensor is for the outside temp?
I get odd readings when standing still and wondered if it was heat from the engine but I cant fine the sensor!

The outside temp sensor is behind the grille, just below the latch, above the Front impact severity sensor.

Some are really quite rubbish for accuracy, so don't expect too much from it. Others will have no problem what so ever ( no counting for something made on a Monday or Friday )

You should get fair accuracy in colder temps ( less if you have sleet building up on it from running the M6 flyover on a lovely UK winter day ) but warmer temps you can get higher then actual reading due to heat rise off the tarmac, sitting in traffic trying to get to Bath on a holiday weekend.

If you are that picky you can try replacing it, but this will have the same result as flipping a quid in the air for if you will get better or worse.

Good luck, Cheers.

The temperature display has logic built into it - it's not a direct display of what the sensor shows, so it might not show what you think sometimes. Read this post.
