Automatic Head light problem

When its dark enough for the auto lamp to turn on it does, but only the parking lights and fog lights. the head lamps will not. when I flip it over to manually turn them on, they work fine. I have checked the fuses and they are all ok. anyone ever encounter this problem? or does anyone have any other Ideas?

Sounds like a bad relay. Look it up in the owner's manual.

Are you the original owner of this vehicle? If not, I would suspect that the former owner made a few modifications. Your fog lights were not wired to come on without the headlights, from Ford.

If you have autolamp enables(light sw pulled out & turned to far left position) fog lights will turn on. If you have the owners manual check the autolamp section;there are some settings thereII think).

I see that your truck is a 2005. Let the dealership worry about it, you should still be under warranty (unless you have over 36k).

Ok, The Fogs are wired into the parking lamps not the headlights. I am the original owner. There is no relay or fuse for the auto lamps, I spend all night looking for it. The relay does still click when the fogs and parking lamps click on. The only thing I can think of is the headlight relay.
