I'm doing the foglight mod (brights and fogs) on my '02 F150 and was trying to pry the headlight switch cover off but it didn't seem to want to come. Is there a special trick to get it off? Also what rating of wire do you use when you jumper the two together, does it matter? thanks

Not sure '02 is same as '99, but on a '99...
1) Disconnect battery
2) Turn light switch **** to on and pull **** out
3) At the bottom of the **** there should be a hole; use a thin screw driver to enter the small hole and press a releasing mechanism allowing the **** to be pulled off
4) When the **** comes off, put it back on turned exactly 180 degrees from how in came off
5) With the **** back on 180 degrees from where it came off, turn the **** to right (or left can't remember). This pulls in the latches of the switch allowing it to be removed from the dash.
