Keypad, computer module, 2005 F-150

I've just recently purchased a 2005 F-150, with a key pad. Problem is, is there is no code available. I've been finding out that the factory code is written on the computer module. Is this right ? where is the computer module located ? I think i've found it under the hood, mounted to the firewall, but there is no 5 digit number code written on it. What other option do i have ?

What series ?..........................Std,SuperCab,SuperCrew?
It's called a GEM module.Did you check the owner's manual for a code card ? The FACTORY code is on the module.
SuperCrew location: Behind rear seat.
The std & supercab GEM is located underneath the dash on driver's side.
Run a search on the web site, there are some good pics of the location & what it looks like. Good luck.

Well i tried searching on the web, and couldn't find a picture. i also looked all underneath the dash, up by the steering column and pedals and couldn't find anything... the dealer told me i need to bring it to the shop and they'll reprogram it. i don't want to believe that.
