horn ?

horn ?

hey guys, horn wasnt working after testing everything else tells me me horns are gone.horn contacts are ok, relay is clicking etc... the horn is at at half power and sometimes its totally dead. i see 2 horns on the truck but only 1 style on rockauto.com. will the one horn be loud enough? or...??

o yes its a 97 4.6 nor sure what the setups areon other years

So when you checked the horn connector, you had power and ground at the horn when pressing the button ( think the half power is in terms of the volume of the horn itself ).

There is a high note, and a low note to the set.

well i pressed the horn and the voltage at the connector was jumping around went to 12 -5- 10 volts. i connected the horn right to the battery and it didnt do anything so...if the relay was junk i would not be getting any power at all.
