need 2 answers please
Ok got two quick questions for ya. 2000 F150 4.6
First i think my truck is haunted. Everyone once in a while the wipers will jsut come on. Its not a steady thing, it will come on for once pass and quit and it dosent happen very often. The other night it started to snow and they came on alot when the windshield got wet but i never had them "turned on".
Next is my cruise wont work. Im not really sure which fuses are what because the manual dosent come out and say cruise control fuse. So if someone can point me in that direction i would greatly appreciate it. Also if the fuses are A ok what else could there be.

For the wiper fault, you gave a key piece of info. The wipers came on more when it was snowing! This suggest your windshield leaks and drips water onto the GEM module and has caused damage/corrosion etc.
For cruise control, there are a lot of areas that would prevent it's operation. And yes, the Gem is involved.
Brake pedal switch, Pressure switch, multifunction switch, wiring, fuse, relay, steering wheel switches and other areas.
Without some idea of how far into the operation it goes, it's hard to be specific.
The fuse that would affect it's operation also powers other functions. If you are not missing other functions then I would expect a fuse not to be the problem.
There is a self diagnostic test that can be done from the steering wheel but I need to work more on it to be sure how it works and what use it may be.
On older integrated systems, the test can be done from the steering wheel and l the results seen on the CEL lamp.

I had the same kind of electrical problem, except my radio would only work in Park and Neutral and the 4x4 indicator light would randomly come on and off. I resolved the issue by taking my truck to a local auto glass shop and they resealed the windshield for $75 and has taken care of the issue.
