Question Alarm beeping for no reason

I have a 98 F150 SC 4x4 4.6 XLT. It has the remote keyless entry with panic alarm. Here lately, the alarm has been going off for no reason. I can turn the truck off after driving and it goes off; I can be walking away from the truck after parking it and it goes off! The battery in the remote is new, the battery in the truck is only a year old and is OK.
Also lately, the door chime seems to stay on intermittently. It will stop (on occasion) when I jiggle the key switch. I've lubed the door latches with no luck. Could I have a bad key switch that is causing both problems? If so, what kind of fix will need to be done? Very involved, rekeying the doors, any of that stuff? Thanks for any help!

I was going to suggest the door latch lube. But sounds like youve already done that. When i did mine, i sprayed it with WD 40 as i rolled the latch closed, and opened it back up to make sure it got all the moving parts well.

no problems since then.

I would agree with spraying the latches down with WD-40
Gem module is seeing your door open intermittently causing the
panic..

As to exactly why, probably the door ajar switches located in the
latch assemblies..
