Park Lights on trailer plug dont work?

the park lights on the truck work fine but when i hook my boat up, the they dont work on the trailer. Test light on the plug shows the same. Could a fuse be blown somewhere that wouldnt allow anything to affect the truck but only the trailer lights? Or are they all run together? where is the damn fuse box on this thing so i can check it anyway? 2006 super Crew.

Thanks.

Did you do the trailer tow adapter install ?

Did you check the trailer tow adapter fuses for the trailer parking lamps ?

Have they ever worked before ?

I got the truck brand new. never used trailer lights until now. its a stock wiring harness from the factory. test light on plug (that is on rear bumper) does not come on for park lights. its before the trailer and on the truck. is there a separate fuse for the trailer wireing than is on the truck lights?

Check the fuses, happened on my when I bought my F250. I bought a new trailer as well and felt like a **** when I got pissed at the trailer people for giving me a trailer with bad parking lights and the guy checked my fuses and replaced one, and voila! Only 6 days old when it happened.

Check this thread in the towing and hauling forum :

Around post 20 is the location of the fuse box ( pass side kick panel ) and the owners manual pages on the trailer tow fuses.
