Cruise control recall from Ford 1/05
My Ford dealer unpluged my cruise control on 3/05. They got the part and put it in 5/05. My cruise control does not work the way it did, You have to hit the set button now to bump up the speed. Has this happened to anyone else. I just found out about this the other day. A friend of mind told me to try it and it worked, why didnt Ford tell me this.

Are you saying the same set button dosn't set the speed in one action to the speed the truck is going?
But the same button bumps the speed up or down.
Can't hardly be, it's the same button.
When the set button is pressed, you should feel, the cruise take over the throttle pedal position.

Read the owner's manual. It explains exactly how to use the speed control, and all the features.
