Talking Emergency Lights??

Does anybody have Emergency lights for the Fire Department or something?? strobes, light bars, sirens??? If so i was wondering what set-ups you have and if you tried to hide all your switches??

On my truck i have a Whelen Talon R/W dash light, Sho-me 8 head power supply (i have strobes in the front turn signals and fog lights, and then the reverse and brake lights), My siren is a Galls basic siren and a 100W speaker.

Every thing is hidden under the back seat and i have every thing on a 4 channel remote control so theres no switches. I also have a Yaesu Radio converted to work on our fire band.

I am just curious to see what other people have.

I'm not with a Fire Department, but still have a need for some warning lighting. Here's the setup I run on my 2005 XLT. There are more pictures and installation details in my gallery.

I have a whelen edge on my truck and strobes in the headlights...i just use standard toggles under the drivers dash panel..the edge is strobe only so it eliminates having the control center from whelen..J-

I am currently running a Star/Signal Vehicle Products 9200H, two halogen rotator mini bar with a clear dome and red filters that have been modified by 2stroked (see his post above) with horizontal slots. Behind the grill, I have red lense color Nova Electronics halogen grill lights that are controlled by a 7 pattern flasher. Siren is a 100w remote mounted unit with a 100w speaker mounted behind the grill/bumper. Communications are handled with a Motorola Radius mobile radio and a Motorola HT750 portable, both of which are low band units.

This is with the blue filters that I was running last year as a firefighter. This year I am running reds as I am the chief of my department.

Not a great pic of the grill lights, but gives you an idea.....

If you have 1800 dollars running hot in your pocket, I can do a lot more then just a lightbar for you. I can have more lights in your truck then you would imagine. I personally like to go incognito until I need them
