I am somewhat new to the site but have picked some very good pointers. Thank you guys for that. I dont like the child saftey locks on the rear doors of my KR is there anything I can do?

 

im assuming u mean th fact the the doors can only b opened from the outside.

#1, read the owners manual

#2, since i have nothing else to do ill tell u how, open the rear doors, and down where the latch is that locks the door you will see a little lever type thing, with a locked lock and unlocked lock, move it up or down to the unlocked lock (i forget which way it is) and the door can b opened from the inside. id get a pic for you but i wrote off my 02. gettin a 04

 

For the lever in the door to work, I believe you have to disable the automatic locking feature (doors lock at approximately 17 mph when you drive off). At least that was the case with my 2002 Lariat SCREW.
