washer fluid indicator

washer fluid indicator

im not sure but on my dash i can see a light that says low washer fluid but one day my windshield washing fluid tank was completely dry and the light was not even on.

Might have been frozen over the sensor the other time. Who knows, fill it up and see what happens.

no

i bought the truck and on the ride home i found out there was none and no light. it was about 50* outside too so i dont think it froze

The cluster was built with that indicator, but the trucks never were. Ford had problems with them in Crown Vics & decontented it. But the indicator stayed in the cluster for several years.

Sure. You just have to find or build a washer fluid tank with some kind of float switch in it.

there already is some kind of sensor on it already its on the side of it with 2 wires sticking out of it
