Upgrading hot wires on alt. and bat.

Upgrading hot wires on alt. and bat.

Anyone upgrade all the battery and alternator cables? Id like to do them in 0 gauge.. j/w if anyone else has done it.

Why? Unless they're getting hot over the whole length of the wire, their grade is up enough. If they just get hot at the terminals, clean & tighten those.

Not getting hot, i just have a high demand for current at times, and upgrading the wires will make the alternator about 20amp more efficient.

ive heard of ppl doing it, need to do it myself too, you need to upgrade

battery to alt, battery to block and body ground, and alternator to ground.
and you will need to make an inline fuse like there is from the factory between alt and battery
