Hi, I have a 97 f150 with a Drivers side power window problem. The window will go down (never up) all by it self. It will always go back up but sometimes will not go down. I'm just driving along and the window starts to go down. I've searched the forum and could not find anyone with a similar problem. Please help.

 

If you haven't attempted to find the fault, it's time to getter done.
Hayne book page 12-26 has the wire drawing to work from.
Look at the bottom of the page 'in vertical position' where is says left power window motor and see there is the one touch switch, Gem module etc.
Note, if the Gem module has gotten wet from a windshield leak, it can be the cause of many weird happenings.
