Power locks are kind of a requirement to get remote entry to work.

Else what is going to unlock ?

Should have asked that in the first place then...

Yes, you can add power locks to a truck, and then the remote entry after that.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I ussually drive a beater to and from work. I do about 125 miles a day.
I love a remote starter. Michigan can get cold in the winter.
Two years ago I was driving a 93 escort with all manual stuff. For about $25 each I bought generic door lock actuators. Real easy to install myself. Or a few bucks gets them installed.
When I had the remote starter installed I had them add a relay for the door locks and that gave me the keyless entry.
