Cool Replacing Dash Lights

Anyone have tips on replacing dash (instrument cluster) lights. Dealer wants $125. How do you get to those things?

Thanks!

Hoe to remove the HVAC controls ( sounds like a EATC truck ). download the instructions for a Pro-Fit VSM and it will show how to get into the dash. The radio trim is a simple pull on both sides, and the 4 ( 5or6) spring clips will release.

As for the replacing dash lights, use the search function, there are several threads on what to remove to get the instrument cluster out of the dash. It is somewhat involved, with all the dash parts that need to be removed.

You know, I did that, but didn't see what I needed. I'll try again. I finally just figured out how to use this site's search feature efficiently.... Thanks.

Try to search for dash light*
Gets you to this thread :
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ght=dash+light

Which ref the thread on intermittent Odometer, to get to the deinstall notes in :
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=126765

It is not a single thread that is returned.
