Reset Keyless entry/Seat removal

I just got a new/used 05 SuperCab. No reset code with the manual. SO I need some help with the rear seat back removal? I've already read all the threads I could get my hands on. I'm sure it's one of those duh things.

When I put the screw driver in the seat back(per the gallery pics)and push on the seat clip is it suppose to click or lock or something. Then do I lift up or pull forward or kick the crap out of the seat back to get it out. I can feel the clip flexing but then what? The back will not move. Do I have to remove something else first? Maybe I'm not lifting up hard enough? pushing a mouse for too long has made me soft

dang I just need the damn code for the door lock....grrrrrr

Thanks
Chad

Honestly, stop by your local dealer and have them hook up their diagnostic tool to query the Vehicle Security Module for your keycode. Probably less effort that pulling the rear seat....

easiest procedure....

Remove the middle seat shoulder fixture - 10mm I believe, 2 nuts.

Your rear seat has (4) buttons on it - at least my leather does. I assume the cloth has the same. There are (2) clips - one at each of the buttons closest to the doors.

Some people have to use a screw driver or similar to release the clips, but my small girly hands are able to get in between the the seat bottom and seat back.

Push back on the one clip and push up slightly - you'll feel the bar pass the clip. I fold my rear seat floor mat in half and wedge it in between the seat and back. Since I do this by myself, it prevents the seat from re-locking when I attempt the other side.

Do the same to the other side.

Jump in the middle and pull the seat up.

Some people zip tie the clips open so all they have to do is pull the back up for future access.
