The Ground that supposed to run from the Firewall and connect to the engine backside (Green wire) has broken off and to reconnect this wire back to the same location is almost impossible(5.4L engine). Could I just attach it back to another location on the engine?

You should find a place that has a bolt to pull out to use for ground on the block.Just get a longer wire the same size too reach your new ground point if the old one is too short.
